Both Hayward Golf Club and Big Fish Golf Club will offer junior golf clinics this summer.

Hayward Golf Club will offer a six-week clinic this summer to all aspiring young golfers ages 6-14.

The clinic is designed to give junior players the opportunity to experience all aspects of the game. There will be four playing stations, including putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. In addition, the experienced teaching staff will provide a golf knowledge station and a mini par-3 course.

The program will run every Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. from June 10 to July 15. It will conclude with a junior championship.

The cost of the program is $50 per child, which includes prizes and a gift for all participants.

Pre-registration is strongly suggested by stopping in the pro shop or by calling (715) 634-2760.

Big Fish Golf

Big Fish Golf course will host its annual junior clinic for children ages 6-17 June 4, 11, 18 and 25, and July 9 and 16. The clinic will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. each Friday.

Building on the success of last year's clinic, the club is making a few changes this year so that each child can experience the same amount of instruction time regardless of age, with more instruction focused on each child's skill level and age. Group levels will be ages 6 to 8, 9 to 12 and 13 to 17.

Parents are asked to call the pro shop at (715) 934-4700 to sign up a child or to obtain more information.
