Round Man opens to pubic

Round Man Brewing Co., Spooner’s new brew pub and restaurant, celebrated their first night of business, opening to the public at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, and immediately drawing a nice crowd downtown. SPOONER– At 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, Spooner’s newest business, Round Man Brewing Co., opened for business, drawing a large crowd as the doors opened for the first time.

The brew pub and restaurant occupies the former Dahl’s Home Store building downtown, and will be open six days a week, closed on Tuesday.

Owned by the Churchill family, also owners of nearby The Dock Coffee, Round Man features a wide variety of beers, cocktails and wines at the impressive bar area. In the restaurant, one can enjoy everything from appetizers such as cheese curds and walleye cakes, to burgers, salads and soups, to steaks, chops, chicken, pasta, a Friday perch fish fry, and more.

“There will be more  specials to come, and more craft beers,” said Xan Nelson.
