Foxconn

MADISON– Noting that many constituents have questions about the state's proposed incentives package for Foxconn, the company planning on building a $10 billion manufacturing complex in Wisconsin, Rep. Romaine Quinn said in his weekly e-update that the Assembly Committee on Jobs and the Economy will hold a hearing on the package, Special Session AB 1, on Thursday, Aug. 4.

"This is the bill that creates an electronics and information technology manufacturing zone, makes changes to the enterprise zone tax credit program, authorizes limited use of the design-build construction process, and grants contingent highway bonding authority," Quinn said.

The hearing will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be live online at WisconsinEye.
