SPOONER– Dr. Mike Knoepke’s time on Spooner Health’s Board of Directors has come to an end, and Tim Reedy has been nominated and elected as the newest board member.
Knoepke, a resident of Spooner since 1978, served on the board for 12 years, several of them as vice president. He has been practicing dentistry in his Spooner office for 41 years.
Knoepke was involved in the planning and building of the new hospital.
“That process was an amazing accomplishment for the city of Spooner," he said. "Above and beyond that, it has been an honor and privilege to serve with such great board members and employees and Spooner Health.”
“Mike gave a unique perspective to Spooner Health’s Board of Directors,” said Mike Schafer, Spooner Health CEO. “His roots in the Spooner community and knowledge of health care made him a valuable board member.”
Reedy has been a small business owner in Spooner for the past 15 years. He and his wife, Tammy, have three children – Ben, Nick, and Kate. He completed his Bachelor of Accounting Degree at University of Minnesota – Duluth, and his MBA at Illinois State University.
