New Rodeo Royalty

Queen Katie Crosby, at left, and Princess Faith Ciesielski, are the new royalty for the 65th Spooner Heart of the North Rodeo. The girls won their crowns and sashes in competition on Saturday, May 12. The 65th Spooner Rodeo will be held July 5-7. The huge Rodeo Weekend will not only feature top professional rodeo competition, but also the Spooner Exceptional Rodeo, Rodeo Parade, Block Party, Lions Club BBQ, Live Music, the Rodeo Stampede Run Cowboy Church services, and much, much more.

SPOONER– In competition on Saturday, May 12, Katie Crosby of Shell Lake has been selected as the brand new Queen of the historic 65th Spooner Heart of the North Rodeo. Katie had served as Rodeo Princess for the past two years. She is the daughter of Shorty and Melissa Crosby.

Chosen as the new Spooner Rodeo Princess was Faith Cielielski, also a resident of Shell Lake. Faith is the daughter of Matthew and Jennifer Cielielski.

The girls were crowned following riding competition and interviews with judges. Placing the crowns was outgoing Spooner Rodeo Queen Missa Kay Taylor.

Missa is officially the Spooner Rodeo Queen until Wednesday, June 13, at the Spooner Rodeo Bar-B-Que. At that time she will present the crowns for the 65th Spooner Rodeo to Katie and Faith.
