Jack E. Carpenter, born in Independence, Missouri, on March 26, 1933, died at the age of 86 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth on Monday, September 30, 2019.
He enjoyed a long retirement in Springbrook, where he and his late wife, Linda Carpenter, spent their remaining years.
He served in the Army before having a successful career with Ironworker’s Local #55 out of Toledo, Ohio.
He is survived by five children and their spouses and three grandchildren: Mary, Dave, and Zachery Pellow; William and Kim Carpenter; Jackie, Patrick, Kaitlin and Sean Moroney; Kelly Carpenter and Cathy Woodbury; and Carol Cop. He will rest in peace with his wife at Earl Cemetery.
