CUMBERLAND– In just two minutes, a fire can become life threatening. In five minutes, a residence can be engulfed in flames. People can be prepared to take quick action even before the fire department arrives by learning the best practices of smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and escape route planning.
Cumberland Fire Chief Barry Kuenkel will talk about how to best protect and defend one’s self against fires at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Thomas St. Angelo Public Library.
