A Stone Lake area man, Raymond D. Wolf Jr., 57, 6909N Thoroughfare Road, is being held in the Sawyer County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond on a felony charge of repeated sexual assault of a girl 9 to 11 years of age between June 1, 2017, and Jan. 28, 2019, in the Town of Couderay.
This is the second charge of child sexual assault filed against Wolf this year. A four-day jury trial is set to begin June 10 on a first-degree felony sexual assault charge filed against Wolf after he allegedly had sexual contact with a girl under age 13, identified as Victim 1, on Jan. 2, 2019.
During a forensic interview with a child protective services specialist, the second girl, identified as Victim 2, said Wolf touched her and the other girl “everywhere in bad spots and he just kept on doing it.”
Victim 2 told the specialist she was sleeping in a bed when Wolf touched her private parts. Another time, she said, Wolf got into bed with her and the other girl. She said the assaults happened 10 to 11 times when she visited the other girl at the residence. She said Wolf offered to give her expensive gifts such as a phone.
Wolf made his initial court appearance on the new charge May 31. A preliminary hearing was set for June 7 and he was ordered to have no contact with any person under age 18.
If convicted on the sexual assault charges, Wolf faces a maximum prison sentence of 60 years on each count.
