Friday morning greeted us with sunny skies and a flat lake. It was later that morning, with the lake still totally calm, that we decided to kayak around Teal Lake. Our paddles made dimples and ripples as we meandered along.
We were in a bay on the west side when we heard fluttering overhead. Suddenly, there was an eagle right before us, diving for a fish. It was less than a hundred feet before us as he scooped up lunch. It all happened much more quickly than it did for you to read this description.
