Fisheries Biologist Max Wolter sent me the following: “I want to give you a report on the netting activity on Moose Lake in mid-May.

We netted for two nights on Moose, May 11 and 12, with eight fyke nets out each night at locations scattered throughout the lake and in a mix of habitat types (bays, islands, points). We used the same net locations as several past surveys to make comparisons more meaningful. We were also able to bring along some students from Northland College as a training exercise. Thanks to Jim and Joel for helping facilitate that.
