Superintendent of the Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) Ojibwe School Jessica Hutchinson said it is a shame that many people in Sawyer County have probably never seen the beautiful buildings along the corridor on Trepania Road from Froemel Road to County Highway E on the LCO Reservation.

Hutchinson was referring to structures such as the LCO Ojibwe College, LCO Tribal Office and the LCO Health Center, among others. That list also must include the buildings under Hutchinson’s supervision, which have been and are being spruced up with millions of dollars provided from the $3.4 million in Tribal American Rescue Plan funds for repairs, remodeling and expansion of buildings and grounds.
