Mercury Marine has presented John’s Motor Sports of Hayward its Service Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award for 2018. The program measures consumer satisfaction after having service work done on their Mercury outboard or MerCruiser Stemdrive or inboard motors.

John’s Motor Sports won the Service CSI Award based on the responses of customers who had warranty work performed at the dealership during the past year. After warranty work has been completed, Mercury sends out a survey, asking consumers to rate the service received. To be eligible for the Service

CSI Award, a dealer must maintain a score of 94 or better out of 100 in the survey.

By tracking CSI scores Mercury can evaluate the effectiveness of its dealers and its policies and training programs. Dealerships that score high in the surveys are recognized through the awards program.
