Randy Stoecker, a professor of in the community and environmental sociology department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Extension, and Amanda Jane Hoffman, a research assistant pursing a master’s degree, both have researched Hayward, as one of 12 Wisconsin cities in a study called “Gaining and Maintaining Young Adults in Wisconsin.”
