A former news director for WRLS Radio in Hayward, Scott Klohn, 63, has been sentenced in Washington County District Court, Stillwater, Minnesota, for feloniously soliciting a 17-year-old male for sex in exchange for cash at a fitness center in Woodbury, Minnesota, and exposing himself to the boy.

On Oct. 9, 2019, a 365-day jail sentence was stayed, and Klohn was placed on three years probation. As a condition of probation, he is required to attend a sex offender program and complete treatment at the Duluth Institute. He also is prohibited from having any unsupervised contact with minors or vulnerable adults unless approved by his supervising probation officer or sex offender therapist.
