A small village of long trailers and snowmobile racers, supporters and spectators gathered Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 9-10, on the shore of Lake Namakagon near Lakewoods Resort for a weekend of Cor PowerSports snowmobile racing.
The two-day event featuring 100 snowmobile racers, got off to a late start Saturday because of foggy and icy conditions. The start was pushed to 11:45 a.m. instead of the planned 8 a.m. launch.
