The Hayward Hurricanes boys hockey team went 1-2 over the past week, losing to New Richmond 3-1, defeating the Somerset Spartans 2-1 and losing 4-2 to the West Madison Polar Caps at the Hayward Sports Center last Saturday.
The Polar Caps are a youth hockey association from the west side of Madison (Madison West and Madison Memorial high schools).
