Since I’m again cooking a large traditional Thanksgiving dinner for six adults this year, I’ve learned the hard way to roast way more turkey than needed — for those glorious leftovers! Two 10-pound turkeys will be perfect to later enjoy this Food Network adaptation of a delicious chili, made very simply in a slow cooker. More leftover turkey will shine in this hearty pie recipe, adapted from an old Hayward First Congregational Church cookbook, printed last December in the Record’s holiday cooking section.
