A drive around the City of Hayward last Sunday morning, May 17, revealed most of the church parking lots were empty. Most church congregations appeared still not to be meeting in person.
Ever since Gov. Tony Evers had the Wisconsin Department of Health Service (DHS) issue the Safer at Home order in late March that restricted gatherings, a order meant to slow the spread of the COVID-19, congregations haven’t been meeting in person. Many have resorted to online or live streaming services instead.
