Sawyer County felony charges were filed June 6 against Joseph M. Anderson-Bodo, 26, 6622 Marion Street, Winter, accusing him of delivering 200 to 1,000 grams of THC (marijuana) on March 6, 2019, delivering 483 grams of marijuana in a controlled buy by law enforcement officers April 2, 2019, selling 5 to 15 grams of cocaine to a confidential law enforcement informant on April 23, and possession of THC-second or subsequent offense on May 1, all in the city of Hayward.
Following an investigation into drug sales, Anderson-Bodo was arrested at a parking lot in Hayward on May 1. State special agents obtained search warrants for two residences in Hayward, one in Couderay, one in Duluth, one in Lake Nebagamon, and one in Centerville, Minnesota.
On Anderson-Bodo’s person and in his car and at residences on Muriel Street and Minnie Avenue in Hayward, officers seized more than 575 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and more than $6,000 in cash. Also, 11 Gabapentin pills were found in Anderson-Bodo’s car.
Also a search warrant was executed at a residence on Hwy. N in the town of Couderay, and officers seized 8.78 pounds of marijuana, 2,992 vape cartridges, drug paraphernalia and 600 grams of THC edibles (rice crispy treats).
Officers also seized a blue 2007 Saturn Acura, which would be forfeited upon Anderson-Bodo’s conviction.
Officers executed a search warrant at an informant’s residence in Hayward on March 7 and seized 604 grams of marijuana.
Anderson-Bodo had his initial court appearance June 11.
