Artist Diana Randolph will offer two workshops titled “Drawing: Explore Perspective” on Monday and Tuesday, March 18-19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at WITC Hayward.
Participants may sign up for one or both classes to learn techniques of creating the illusion of three-dimensional space on the flat surface of paper. Participants will practice linear perspective, atmospheric perspective and color use to create depth in their artwork. They will use their own photos of buildings or street scenes to apply perspective techniques of line, value and color.
Artists will work with their own drawing materials; the supply list is posted at www.witc.edu/supplies. Participants should bring their lunch.
The fee for each class is $31.50 and $18 for those ages 62 or up. The class numbers are 24377 for Monday’s class and 24378 for Tuesday’s class. Pre-registration is required by calling (715) 682-4591, ext. 3182.
