The newly comprised LCO Tribal Governing Board

The newly formed Lac Courtge  Oreilles Tribal Governing Board (LCOTGB) includes (from left) Don Carley, Tweed Shuman, Lorraine Gouge, Gary Clause, Michelle Beaudin, Glenda Barber and Louis Taylor. Taylor was chosen again as chairman. Gouge was voted in as the new vice chair and Beaudin became the new secretary/treasurer. 

The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board (LCOTGB) held its 2019 Inauguration on Wednesday, July 3, swearing in four new members and electing officers.

Before swearing in Glenda Barber, Michelle Beaudin, Gary Clause  and Lorraine Gouge, four departing members – Jason Schlender, Jason Weaver, Rose Gokee and Joel Valentine – were honored with gifts and plaques.

After the new members were sworn in, officers were chosen. Re-elected by unanimous votes was Chairman Louis Taylor. Gouge became Vice Chairman by a 4-3 vote, winning over Tweed Shuman, and Beaudin became Secretary/Treasurer by unanimous vote.
