Boulder Lodge, located on the shore of Ghost Lake, will hold its eighth annual Northwoods Music and Art Festival from noon to 10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17.
Area artists will enhance the event with many forms of original art work on display and for sale, including jewelry, hand blown glass, handmade woodwind instruments and other art and craft media.
Music on the outdoor stage begins at noon and will feature some of the area’s best known musicians, as well as Nashville artist Andrew Salgado and his four-piece band. Other regional musicians include Molly and the Danger Band, Sonofmel and Curt and Eli Stone. Festival-goers can expect to hear folk, Americana, Celtic, bluegrass, country and more from the array of music genres.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day. There will be yard games throughout the grounds for all ages to enjoy.
Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for teens ages 13 to 18 and free for kids 12 and under.
Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs and lawn blanket; personal coolers are not permitted. Boulder Lodge is located 22 miles east of Hayward on Highway 77.
