Rice Lake rallied with two second half goals to edge Eau Claire North, 2-1, in Big Rivers Conference soccer Thursday night in Rice Lake.

North led 1-0 at halftime on Jack Echternach's penalty shot late in the first half. But the Warriors got goals from Louis Larson and Jake Engelbritson in the second half to pull out the win. Warrior goalie Zach Holmstrcom had five saves.

The win lifted Rice Lake to 6-1-1 mark in the conference race, but the Warriors slipped to 6-2-1 on Friday with a 4-1 loss at Big Rivers leader Hudson (7-0-1). The Warriors and Hudson meet again Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Rice Lake in a 7 p.m. start.
