Diane D. Swanson, 82, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Our House Memory Care in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

Diane was born April 1, 1937 to Carl and Evelyn (Brunette) Fredrickson in Rice Lake, Wisconsin where she was brought up and attended school.  

She married Raymond D. Swanson.  They had three children and resided in rural Cameron on an 80 acre farm.  She remarried and a step-daughter was added to her family.  

She was a homemaker for 20 years then was employed at Beco-Helman in Barron, Wisconsin for 23 years.

Diane was devoted to God, loved to read the bible, and listen to gospel messages and music.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who deeply loved her family.  Diane had many God given gifts and talents.  She was an excellent seamstress, had incredible artistic ability, sang beautifully, was a marvelous cook, and enjoyed being with loved ones.  

Diane is survived by four children, Diana Smith, Greg Swanson, Dawn (Kevin) Kuhrt, of Rice Lake and Sandy (Jim) Checkalski of Bloomer; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Darlene (Dick) Hessler of Rice Lake, and nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Evelyn Fredrickson; five brothers, David (an infant), Dean, Dale, Darrell and Donald Fredrickson, and one sister, Donna Atkinson.

A private celebration of life will be held in her family's home.
