Kickoff to National Eucharistic Revival held in Rice Lake

On June 19, the Four Parish Catholic community — Holy Trinity of Haugen, Our Lady of Lourdes of Dobie, St. John the Evangelist of Birchwood and St. Joseph of Rice Lake — held a cluster-wide Mass and Eucharistic Procession. This was held in honor of the Feast Day of Corpus Christi and the National Eucharistic Revival kickoff.

First Communion children lead the procession in downtown Rice Lake. Knights of Columbus 2137 and 9546, fourth degree knights attended in full regalia.

The Mass was held outdoors in the St. Joseph Catholic School field in Rice Lake. More than 300 parishioners from each of the four parishes were in attendance. The Mass was celebrated by three priests, Ed Anderson, Adam Laski and Dave Oberts. Deacon Isaiah Schick and Rod Knight, who will be ordained a Deacon in August, along with seven altar servers assisted with the Mass. The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Councils 2137 and 9546 attended in full regalia.
