The Barron County Sheriff's Department arrested Trevor L. Davis, 29, in the early hours of May 10 based on an anonymous tip phoned in at 11:47 p.m. May 9, according to a Sheriff's Department press release.

Davis had several warrants out from Eau Claire, Rusk and Barron counties.

The press releases states that when duties arrived at the address, Davis fled on foot from a car and into a house. After Davis continued to refuse to exit the building, the K9 on scene, Koda, was sent in. Koda apprehended Davis in a back bedroom.

Davis received an apprehension bite to his arm, states the release, and was flown to an Eau Claire Hospital to be treated for his injury.

The Barron County Daily Call Log states a tourniquet was applied to Davis' arm.

Eau Claire County then took Davis, of Cameron, into custody on their warrants at the hospital, the release states. Davis had been wanted for armed robbery, strangulation, aggravated battery, intimidation of a victim and possession of meth.
