The No. 1-seeded Warriors advance to Saturday's regional final against No. 4 seed Hayward, a 3-1 winner over Barron/Cumberland on Thursday. Saturday's game at Pug Lund Field at Rice Lake High School kicks off at 7 p.m.

The Warriors took a 1-0 lead over No. 8 seed Altoona/Fall Creek on Jordan Roethel's goal at the 10-minute mark Thursday, and then got three straight goals from Ella Weber and three straight from Cady Buchli to go up 7-0 at the 36-minute mark.

Emma Muminovic and Katelyn Holmstrom added goals before halftime against Altoona/Fall Creek's overwhelmed goalkeeper Abby Palchik, who had numerous big saves in the first half against Rice Lake's constant pressure.
