Cops & Robbers Donut Dash

These masked robbers pause for photo during last year's Cops & Robbers Donut Dash.

The annual Cops & Robbers Donut Dash,  presented by the Barron County Sheriff’s Department takes place this Saturday, July 20, at 8:30 a.m. at the Barron County Fairgrounds, 101 Short Street, Rice Lake.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Barron County Law Enforcement Foundation and the Barron County Sheriff’s Department’s Shop With A Cop program. The Shop With A Cop pairs law enforcement officers with children from the Boys & Girls Club and Cumberland Kinship to go gift shopping for their families with gift cards provided to them during the holiday season.

This is a 5-kilometer fun run and will not be professionally timed. Strollers are welcome. Pets are not encouraged due to the heat.

Children ages 7 and under are free—no need to register. Runners and walkers ages 8 and up  are $25 to register.

Registration includes free Saturday admission to the Barron County Fair, keepsake race number bib and donuts after the race. T-shirts are not guaranteed.

To register, visit or at the race on Saturday.
