Summer is an exciting time for many teenagers who will get behind the wheel to learn to drive and get their driver license. This is a time of liberation but also dangerous as more than 30% of deaths involving teen drivers happen during the 100 days of summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day, according to AAA.

Wisconsin laws that are designed to prepare teenagers for safe driving include the Graduated Driver License program, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The Wisconsin State Patrol has declared the Graduated Driver License program as the June Law of the Month.
