The 16th annual Youth Field Day was hosted Aug. 31 by the Phillips Sportsman’s Club, offering area youth the opportunity to learn new outdoor skills.

In the morning, kids ages 10-13 were able to learn about gun safety and compete in a BB gun competition. Older youth also learned about gun safety and were able to experience the .22 revolver steel target competition and .22 rifle competition under the instruction of adults.
