Scores of volunteers aided police, National Guard air crews, forest rangers and others over the weekend but still came up short in their search for an Odanah man missing since he crashed his car early Friday.

Kevin Rosin, 32, is believed to have rolled his car onto its roof in a ditch along Holmes Road in the town of Gingles. The wreckage, including Rosin’s cellphone, was found at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Searcher David Daquisto of Ashland said he believed volunteers seeking Kevin Rosin were frustrated not to be in the woods searching more. Ashland County Sheriff Mick Brennan said a shortage of trained officers to monitor searchers restricted the number that could be out at any given time.
