Team SEaL varsity shooters edged the Blue Hills Shooting Stars from Cameron via reverse run tie breaker after a 111-111 tie in regulation during week five Northern Wisconsin Clay Target League action. Team SEaL’s varsity squad was lead by Sam Nesbit’s perfect round of 25, followed closely by Dylan Kleinhans with 23, Garrett Vetter with 22, Cahill Wegner with 21, and Blake Richard with 20.
Junior varsity action saw Team SEaL post a 86-79 win over Blue Hills. The JV squad was once again led by Delton Heizler’s 24, followed by Jase Hlavacek with 21, Thomas Mineau with 18, Dawson Hauschild with 12, and Cheyenne Sinnott with 11.
Team SEaL’s intermediate advanced shooters dominated Blue Hills 114-66. Luke Murphy lead the way for the SEaLs by carding his very first perfect round of 25. Others adding to the SEaL’s total included Wyatt Vetter, John Wartgow, Ethan Michek, and Cole Abraham, all with rounds of 22.
SEaL intermediate entry level shooters totaled 85 on the day, including Dawson Heizler with a round of 22, Kye Tingo with 18, Drew Hauschild with 17, and Lane Abraham and Jonathan Grendys with 14 each.
Finally, Team SEaL rookies posted a team score of 55 during week five, including Storm Heizler with 17, Ayron DeLeasky with 15, Joe Wartgow with 11, Macoy DeLeasky with 8, and Connor Fox with 4.
Team SEaL will take on the SCOPE Shooting Team from Hayward in a key NWCTL match during week six action.
