The Logger girls cross country team swept their home meet, while the boys took second, in a meet last week.

The girls’ cross country team took home their very own meet, taking first place overall with 38 points. Junior Allie Adomaitis (21:38) led the way for the girls with a third-place finish. Freshman Meredith Merlak (22:35.4) finished in the top 10, receiving a well-earned fifth place. Senior Stacy Backstrom (24:46.9) ran just outside of the top 10, in 11th place. Sophomore Endora Udovich (24:46.9) and freshmen Jaycee Pomeroy (25:56.8), Caitlin Pesko (26:04.3), Maya Nieto (26:19.4) and Rylie Sidenbender (26:25.5) finished in a close pack, securing the team’s victory.
