Tamara Gayle (Bichrt) Robson, age 61, of Venice, Florida, passed away Nov. 16, 2019 at her home. Tami was born on May 24, 1958 in St. Ignace, Michigan, the daughter of Edward Bichrt and Glenda (Bichrt) Sopha. She was a 1976 graduate of Phillips High School. She married Daniel Takala and they had one daughter, Chloe Takala. They later divorced. Tami lived much of her life in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Tami married Jim Robson and resided in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. They later moved to Venice, Florida. Tami worked at Motorola and as a sales representative for various bearing manufacturers.
During her younger years, Tami enjoyed water and snow skiing, windsurfing and gardening. Her later years she enjoyed gardening, attending sporting events, music concerts, fine dining and spending time with family and friends and her dog Gracie.
Tami was a generous free spirit who was kind and nurturing and also wild and adventurous.
Tami is survived by her husband, Jim Robson; by her daughter, Chloe Takala; and by her husband Jim’s sons, Chris and Dan; by her mother, Glenda Sopha (Larry); and by her four siblings: Corrie (Jim) Marquette, Craig (Linda) Bichrt, Marcy (Jim) Matsick, and Jody Bichrt.
Tami was preceded in death by her father, Edward Bichrt.
Tami and Jim moved to Florida to get away from the cold winter weather. In honor of Tami, wa memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date when the weather is warm.
