Aug. 16, 1956 - June 6, 2019
Karen Mae Anderson went to be with our Lord on June 6, 2019. Her daughter, Stacy, was by her side as she met the angels. Karen was born on Aug. 16, 1956 in Phillips, the daughter of the late Claude Anderson, and Marian Anderson Schuh. She attended Phillips High School and graduated from NorthCentral Technical College. After graduating Karen moved to Texas with her daughter, Stacy. Karen was known as a vibrant and energetic mom, sister, and daughter who, without saying, loved life and family. She loved to travel and make new friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Stacy Anderson-Reyes and son-in-law Gilbert Reyes of Midland, Texas; her mother and step-father: Marian and Paul Schuh; five siblings: Rose (Rich) Knoblock, Deb (Jerry) Mallon, Kenny Anderson, Brenda (Tommy) Travis, and Barb (Jim) Blahnik; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and the Schuh stepfamily.
The family invites you to gather with us to remember the life of Karen Mae Anderson on Saturday, June 22, starting at 10 a.m. at Kennan Fire Hall. The remembrance service will take place at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Trewyn officiating. A meal will follow to share memories of Karen. A private service for blessing her ashes will be held at a later date.
"If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.”
