PARK FALLS (March 9, 2022) — Gov. Tony Evers was in Park Falls on Wednesday to announce a $20 million grant to support facility upgrades and modernization at the Marshfield Medical Center-Park Falls.

The funds from the Healthcare Infrastructure Capital Investment Grant Program were targeted to the Marshfield Clinic Health System as a critical access hospital to expand access to quality healthcare for rural communities that have been historically underserved, according to the presentation at Forward Bank. Evers also took the opportunity to provide the ceremonial $5.67 million grant award check to the city of Park Falls and YMCA of the Northwoods that was already announced last week to build a facility in Park Falls.
