There have been zero newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Price County since Sept. 2, and all 36 individuals who were confirmed to have the virus have recovered. A total of 2,240 Price County residents have been tested for the virus since March.

Surrounding counties and the state as a whole have not been so fortunate, and case numbers continue to grow in the region.

Taylor County's case load has increased by 22 in a seven day period for a total of 126 confirmed cases. Active case numbers have not been released by the county. There have been three deaths in Taylor County that have been associated with the virus. As of Tuesday, a total of 2,402 people have tested negative.

Case numbers are decreasing in Sawyer County, going from 31 active cases to 14 in a sevenday period. A total of 4,103 people have tested negative and 166 people have tested positive.

In Oneida County, there have been 230 confirmed cases of the virus, 27 of which were still active as of Tuesday. A total of 6,756 people have tested negative. There has been one death attributed to the virus.

In Vilas County, there have been 128 confirmed cases, 34 of which were still active as of Sept. 4. A total of 3,581 people have tested negative.

In Ashland County, there have been 37 confirmed cases, and 36 individuals were being actively monitored for the virus as of Sept. 7. A total of 2,150 people have tested negative. One death has been attributed to the virus.

In Iron County, there have been 131 confirmed cases, 24 of which were still active as of Sept. 4. A total of 1,386 people have tested negative. One death has been attributed to the virus.

In Rusk County, there have been 31 confirmed cases, eight of which were still active as of Sept. 4. A total of 1,474 people have tested negative. One death has been attributed to the virus.

In Lincoln County, there have been 90 confirmed cases, and eight individuals were in isolation as of Sept. 4. A total of 4,094 people have tested negative. One death has been attributed to the virus.

As of Monday, there were 8,096 active cases of the virus in Wisconsin. A total of 72,478 individuals have recovered after testing positive, while 1,168 people have died. Official numbers show more than 88% of people infected have recovered. There have been 6,089 hospitalizations and a total of 1.3 million people have been tested.
