What does a Super Squirt, a Pogo Paint Pole and a Chalk Walk and Roll have in common?
These are all inventions by Bayfield artist/inventor Dwayne Szot, designed to assist special needs students in the creation of art. Last week the entire Bayfield Elementary School got to sample some of these handy dandy tools when they collectively created a 50-foot square mural. Not for the wall, however, but to be cut up and made into “a 1,000 little gems of art,” Szot said, by high school students at his studio this week. These include gift boxes and cards to be handed out to the community.
