Dry conditions will lead to near-critical fire weather conditions
today. Minimum relative humidity values of 20 to 30 percent are
expected with south winds of 8 to 15 MPH. These conditions can
lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and
fire danger before burning.

Bayfield sophomore guard Quintin Bresette broke the Trollers’ single-game scoring record when on Feb. 3, he dropped 58 points in a 97-71 away win against the South Shore Cardinals.
The previous high was set 62 years ago by Butch Vander Venter, who scored 54 points in a 1961 game. Vander Venter joined Bresette at the Bayfield athletic banquet held Tuesday, May 23.
