Caller from Chippewa Quick Mart reports a male subject being highly intoxicated and may fall down. The subject is in front of the store wearing a jean jacket.

Caller from Prentice House Two reports that two males left the property.

Motorist reports a van in the ditch on Hwy 13/77. No one visible, parking lights on, no lane obstruction.

Caller was advised by her 12-year-old daughter that her father tackled her for the telephone. Mother is requesting a deputy check on the child at school.

Ashland County Aging Unit employee requests to speak with a deputy regarding an incident in the county.

Butternut School is requesting to speak with a deputy about an incident that happened yesterday.

Requesting a deputy be present while a property check is conducted. Subject requesting deputy have been receiving numerous calls and is concerned there may be problems with him.

A male dropped off a small green purse with “Aegis Therapies” logo at the Sheriff’s Department.

Oct. 10

Caller reports a possible breaking and entering into her residence in Butternut.

9-1-1 call, caller reports her vehicle in the ditch. Caller has slurred speech and seemed angry. Caller did not have a cell phone, so she walked home and then called 9-1-1.

9-1-1 call requesting officers respond to location. Caller reports husband is out of control and throwing things.

Oct. 11

Caller is requesting to speak to an officer about a “pig.” Caller states the tenant left his apartment a mess, and requesting social services be involved.

Reports of a one vehicle rollover just south of Cayuga. Mellen EMS and fire department paged. Passerby reports vehicle rolled three times, car is smoking and one female trapped inside. Female was removed from car. Male subject up walking and talking Female is complaining of head pain.

Caller from Highway 112 reports a deer hit. Caller reports deer ran off, no lane blockage.

Driver stopped officer in Mellen to request a deer tag for a downed deer near Copper Falls. Driver did not hit the deer, he saw the deer on the side of the road with a broken leg.

Oct. 12

Caller reports he walked around the Ashland County Fairgrounds and noticed a hasp had been pried off the dairy barn. Caller felt it was suspicious and felt an officer should investigate.

Prentice House Two would like an officer to respond to residence regarding an issue with a subject.
