The story of the nativity is a story of miracles — yet because it such a familiar story, for many the miraculous has become mundane. Angels, shepherds, and wise men. Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in a manger. All familiar characters in the same story heard year after year after year.

But in the StageNorth Groundling production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” on stage through Dec. 9 at StageNorth, the nativity story gets a fresh look through some unlikely eyes.
