Genevieve E. Marincel

Genevieve E. Marincel, age 87 of Ashland, WI went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 27, 2022. Jenny (as most knew her) was born on August 22, 1934 in Ashland, the daughter of Thomas M. and Mary D (Motel) Hecimovich.

Genevieve was united in marriage to Blaz W. Marincel on September 27, 1952 in Ashland. With Jenny’s passion for farming, they made a living on the family dairy farm until 1985. She then was employed by Anna Marie Designs spending her days sewing, until retirement. In her retirement, her free time was spent gardening, quilting, shaking dice with friends, listening to and watching sports (especially the Brewers and Packers), enjoying special lunch dates with her grandkids, and visiting with friends and family. She had a special relationship with each of her children and loved them individually and intently. She very much cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her joy and passion was found in the Lord and she loved her home church of Our Lady of the Lake. Her kind and generous heart will always be remembered.
