Bayfield Food Pantry volunteers carry pre-packed boxes of food to waiting vehicles. The Food Pantry is extending its operations to two days a week at Bates Art Barn, 14 S. Broad St., Bayfield, and distributing food from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the LCO Ojibwe College Outreach Cabin next to Buffalo Bay Gas Station in Red Cliff.

The Bayfield Food Pantry is extending its hours and opening a satellite location in Red Cliff as demand has boomed due to the economic fallout from measures taken to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Stephanie Bresette opened the Bayfield Food Pantry with the help of volunteers dedicated to the mission of feeding those in need about 15 years ago.


To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Bayfield Food Pantry is distributing pre-packed boxes of food instead of opening the pantry for people to pick grocery items they want.
