A final open house is planned as a part of the update process for the Ashland waterfront development plan and the comprehensive outdoor recreation plan.
The plans will guide future planning for the city’s 22 parks and five miles of Lake Superior shoreline.
The event will provide consultants with the opportunity to present their preliminary concepts, gathered in past public sessions and online surveys, for public feedback. It will also give city residents the opportunities to see what the consultants have distilled from previous public sessions. Thursday’s input will be used to help create a final draft for both plans that will be brought to city committees and the City Council for final review and approval.
The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday at 5 p.m. at Hotel Chequamegon.
