Rick married Kathy Kolonko on October 8, 1983 in Ashland, WI. He enjoyed the outdoors, be it a golf course, the cabin on the Pike Lake Chain or a walk on the “80” in Delta. Nothing fueled his soul more than a walk in the woods or kayaking on the lake. Learning at the feet of his father, he was a lifelong hunter of deer and grouse, the latter with his Brittany spaniels, Kelly and then Brandy. From an early age he was an avid reader with interest in a vast array of topics.

Rick is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathy, of Ashland; and son Brian William Tuttle of Golden Valley, MN. Also surviving are his brother Bill Tuttle and sister Bonnie (John) Westman, both of Ashland, and in-laws Ken (Glenda) Kolonko and John (Donna) Kolonko, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Over the past five months the kindness and support from family, friends and clients touched him deeply. He never imagined the number of lives he touched until the outpouring of mail and visits to express appreciation of his friendship and service. Rick was a true friend to many and a trusted professional to those he served. He will be missed by many.
