Low minimum humidity of 20 to 25 percent and north to northeast
winds of 10 to 15 mph are forecast for this afternoon and early
evening. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread

Jazz and blues violinist Randy Sabien has been a mainstay on the Park Center stage since the performing arts center’s inception 15 years ago, always drawing an enthusiastic and foot-stomping house. He returns to the Park at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 2, and will be joined by North Shore-area guitarist Gordon Thorne.
Sabien is a a bluesy, rockin’, swingin’, funky jazz violinist. With an intensely rhythmic, vibrant and inventive style, he has captivated audiences worldwide, playing with scores of bands and musicians of all stripes.
